So do I, Shakin! :) Look at my other stereo posts, if you can; I should like to know what you think of them too. Thanks for responding. :D

Excellent. . . . as always, my friend. Sorry for the late response. I haven't been on the site much in the past few days, so it's great to come back and view another lovely stereo.

Don't let the fact that it's #1000 slow you down any. Congrats on the shot, and for reaching a milestone.

Thanks for your generous praise, John! :) It was at Montacute that I took my stereo Garden Path, (the one with the pillars). Do you recall it?

I look forward for your next stereo (the first, worthily, got a lot of attention). :D

Jackie, welcome to POTN and thank you for viewing my stereo! :D

I assume you managed to perceive depth okay. Click on my name and then my threads and you can find my other stereos. In the responses I have given tips on composing, viewing and other aspect of 3D photography. I'd love to read what you think of those 3D's too!!

Thanks.

Spent ages looking at all the different 3D shots, had to stop LOL. Only felt like that after one two many malts  Some were easier than others to get. It is something the same as those books you used to get, that had a different design in each page. If you unfocussed on them, an object would appear from the pattern. At least it was by doing that that I was able to get the focus right for these 3D ones.

Great work

It sounds like you have the stereo bug, Jackie! The fatigue when learning to freeview is often muscular. You are training your eyes to work in a new way. With practice freeviewing becomes effortless; fusing the stereo image happens instantly and you will be able to view for prolonged periods with no physical twinges at all.

Why not give stereo shooting a try? I'd like to see you combine your fine eye for composition with 3D: the results could be impressive! :D

Add me to your Buddy list, if you wish. :)

Thanks.

Pamela, there is no mystery to the technique nor does it require any skill to speak of. Try to relax when crossing eyes. Crossing eyes is only minimal and should not be a strain.

Have a look at my other 3D threads. You might find some of them easier. If you need any further stereo advice, feel free to ask. I do appreciate your nice comment about the photo. :)
