a few spiders

this is with my latest diffusion modification.let me know if you guys think the flash highlights in the spider eyes are acceptable.no PP was applied to reduce them

That is an area I reallly do need to work on. My highlights are always blown on the shiny bugs and eyes. I take it you're using pure white Vellum paper Denis?

it,s a never ending learning curve to try to get the diffusion right,and I don't think we are ever completely happy with the results.spider eyes,ladybeetles,and ants are perfect test subjects.i still blow those tiny metallic beetles most of the time.
I,m using vellum,but added a layer of paper towel to it,and it really softened the lighting more.i think it,s the best and cheapest diffusion material out there.
