First post so be easy.

Went to the Pens-Preds game Sunday night and took my S2 IS. We sat way up in Sect 326.

Took a bunch of Sidney(not every year he comes to Nashville) but the best shot of the night was definatly this goal on Fluery.

Tv, 1/320, f/3.5, +1/3EV, 200 ISO, Continuous(Burst) mode, full zoom.

Auto-Levels and Auto-color on Photoshop later and got this

I was pretty pleased, especially considering all the microbrew I had before the game... Go Preds.

Those are excellent shots. And only 200 ISO?

Oh, to shoot in a well lit arena.

That's awesome when you can catch the puck going into the net. My first time out I had a hard time doing that even during the Shoot-out between Dux and Kings at the pond. I take lots of pics of my son's mini-might games from the bench and they all come out w/ the ice yellowish. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who has to use PS to make the ice white (that's been drving me crazy w/ all my pics), but I hear that's what many of us are doing; Thx for sharing, today Kings vs Sharks from the suite, so I hope to get close shots; I was set on Tv 1/500, but i may try 1/320 as the puck blurr wasn't too bad in your pic.

Good job from where you were and what you were working with...

Shoot RAW or do a Custom White Balance...that should move things along...
