Just took this picture in my front garden. It was virtually pitch black, and the sky was pretty dull, so I was pretty surprised when the picture showed up with this red backdrop! One of the lamps also nicely illuminated the bush. It's amazing taking long shutter speed photos because it shows you things you can't even begin to see!

Shutter speed: 30 seconds
Aperture: f5

C&C much appreciated!

A flukey sort of image; a 30-second exposure will draw all sorts of stuff out of a sky that otherwise seems "black". The bush in the foreground gives it a degree of complexity.

Thanks for the comments.

By the way, In2Photos, I'm interested in the Canon 70-210, as from the looks of things, it's affordable, sharp and quite fast - could you let me know what you think of it when you get it?
