Decided to railfan in the area near where my late father was born and his parents had first settled when they came from the old country to Canada. It is a two and a half hour drive, which meant getting up in the middle of the night to be on location for sunrise, but worth it, as I had not been in this area for over 20 years.

I was on a mission to catch CP Rail T-76 (aka the Chatham Turn) since it is led eastbound by D&H 7304 and I caught it twice along with a few other trains throughout the day.

Based on the first photo I thought that would be a winner pic on a photo contest what is about the energy usage or livable future or so on (like this one: http://clfuture.onenw.org …ningphotos/folder_listing (external link)). Because on your pic the wind wheels generates the electric energy and protect the environment but the train increase the pollution with its diesel smoke. In my vision (based on your photo) the wind wheels can provide the necessary electric energy to the train without any pollution and if the train company do not want to build up the aerial system then they can provide the energy via wireless connection (as Tesla dreamt). I guess it is good time to go to sleep :)

Have a nice lights!

I like the first one better to be honest. More fitting with the title.
