I Spotted this very deeply red coloured fly (Muscid I think) this evening. Its eye really does remind me of an apple, especially against the gree.

Right, I'm off for 5 days. Hiking in NW Scotland (Cape Wrath - Have a nose on Google maps). Right up there in the top left corner :D.

Won't be macro shooting up there (limiting myself to 15-85 and 10-22 to keep weight down plus there are no bugs worth shooting up there anyway) but I do have a few shots I took today to look at when I get back and post :)
