Last one is lovely, I like that you can see some lights on the Isle of Wight on it.

I took a series of panoramic pictures of Portsmouth from that one hill from which you can survey the entire city with my old P&S... They actually holds up rather well with time. I'll have to scan them all into a digital format someday.

thanks! looking at it again i think its really easy to see where it's been edited though...! need to get myself over to the isle of wight one day... started uni here in october and i'm wanting to get out to all these places:)

I like the second and third shots you've posted, nice colours. The first one I find a little distracting. I think it would have been better without the motion blur of the person walking. I would have preferred if they were standing still, would have make a good silhouette photo. Just my opinion. ;)

What i would suggest for the future is,get a ND grad filter.
It darkens down the sky and brings up light to the forground,you will find your photos highly improved after a bit of getting used to it.

funny you should say that dimitri, i nearly bought a set of filters today with that included! added them to basket and then couldnt bring myself to get my card out...!
