Had another great day with the shots today, trying to get some serious practice in and ran into everything from birds to fish to trains. All the while not trying

i would agree with ID rocks as i have a few of these little guys and they look spot on a like american goldfinch is 2nd

thanks guys... I was trying to get a better shot but he flew off and I couldnt track him. Hopefully I will see more. I am into the thrill of the shot and have not taken time to find out the birds as of yet. I have a few more to figure out. They are mostly in my yard and in the state park by my home. #3 is a red wing black bird and #2 is some sort of cardinal (maybe a juvenile) and im clueless on #1 i have a few ideas but no clue as to where to start to distinguish what it might be

WOW so now I am on a spotting roll. I have seen over 30 species in my yard alone. But never had the chance on a photo opp. I will surely try and get as many as I can especially with summer right around the corner.

#1 looks like a Catbird. #2 is a female Cardinal. And 3 is indeed a Redwing Blackbird (male)
