The photography thing, that is.
My daughter has already asked for her own camera for Christmas. This is my 30D she got a hold of. Not a bad fit.

It is great and he has a wonderful time with it. It is really light and he gets a kick out of the fact that his camera can do 1200mm zoom, while Dad's camera can only manage 400mm.. Sam

May 12, 2013 09:02 | #6 Both of my kids are into photoography also. My 8 year old plays with my 30D in the house but had a point and shoot but it took a fall (not even her fault) and failed so i've let her take my amature point and shot. Thanks -

It was my first attempt at using flash for fill and honestly it was a quick unexpected snap of her. But I thought it was cute. My brother has been shooting manual since he was around 8, I believe. He's 10 now, shooting a T2i! I wonder if the video editors on The Titanic ever went, "Sorry, I can't right now. I'm busy synching the Titanic..."

May 17, 2013 11:04 | #15 Nice! My 4 year old always wants to use my camera. I gave her a toy camera, but she complained it didn't take good pictures. I could see her thinking and framing (sometimes) so I got her and her younger sister (more to mitigate some fights) A3400's. They were cheap and work out decent. I wish they didn't have touch screens though. They don't even know they are changing settings. Double trouble Canon EOS M6 Mark II - EOS R5
