Train Day

Here are a couple more from my swing to catch trains in new locations last week. The second was caught on the way home, since the timing was right

I like the dramatic light on the first one!

Thanks.....thats the benefit of having gotten out of bed in the middle of the night to be there when the sun comes up. I had no real idea what to expect other then from what I saw on a few railroad sites, and just kinda winged it off google maps and hoped for the best.

Thanks. Until they invent a camera that can drive itself to a location and make a photo at sunrise, us humans will still have to leave the comfort of a warm bed and hit the road in darkness.

BTDT way too many times. Now I sleep in & look for sunset locations! ; D

But certain trains are only on schedule for mornings, so I had no choice in the matter. I try to make a train day a sunrise to sunset of possible these days.
