Hi Folks!!

Just joined this Forum Yesterday. Been browsing the posts, looking at the images. Really beautiful work here. Thank you for sharing.

I went out last weekend, as I was desperate to give camera some use. We seem to have had endless gray days with awful light, and I was getting withdrawal symptoms. Went round by the loch with the hopes of seeing some swans. No joy there, but I did kinda like the soft and simple look of the sunset.

Please do give feel free to advise or comment.

Thank you Markyb and John for your comments. Nothing fancy as far as the frame and signature. I have Photoshop Elements 2 on my PC. (would like Photoshop CS, but there is a little matter of money) Elements 4 is out now though so might take a look at that.

Dreich is perfect. Matches my crabbit mood at being stuck inside trying to stop my shutter finger twitching.

Right , ladys and gents , i just have to ask.
Whats wrong with grey skys?
Do we have to live in a country with blue skys (like Egypt) to get good photographs?
If you ask me,i don`t think so,and MHO is:
If its not nice, try and find another subject, but be prepaired, and i will show you what i mean...

Dimitri this is beautiful. And I do agree with you. I love clouds and stormy skys, they add so much atmosphere to a shot (as your picture demonstrates).
Plain blue skys are boring. But we do get more that our share of sodden grey skies in Scotland, and I would love to get a few days of Egypt blue (along with the temperatures)

Sorry guys but I'm a big fan of little fluffy clouds in a blue sky ;)

Dimitri has a point though with a very fine example. :)
