I'm wondering why you picked that location? #s 1 & 3 have a pole growing out of the car & you hit the jackpot in #2 with a pole growing out of each of them? ; )
See the links in my Sig, and...

thanks. shot at this location for a few reason. its open, and very few cars past by. second, I just like the industrial setting, another reason is it's literally by the water and it you can see the manhattan skyline clearly. I just chose to shoot the opposite direction from the city because of where the sun was.

as for the poles, are they really that distracting in the photograph? i can maybe see it being somewhat distracting for the third shot.

I personally like the location. Here's my (hopefully constructive) critique:

1. I think this shot would have been better served if the open space was to the left of the car. Either that or a slightly tighter crop. My eye keeps wandering to the open space but there's nothing of interest there. It just feels like the subject is squashed down in the corner but there's no real reason for it to be. The highlights look good and your angle of the car is flattering. The lens flare is distracting to me and doesn't look natural.

2. The car in the background looks broken because of the uneven surface its on. I'm not really a fan of the framing in this one either, the angles aren't flattering to either car. I almost never like photoshoots with multiple cars unless they use some really creative compositions. The cars seem dirty, which for me is a huge detriment. The point of taking pictures of cars is to show them in the best possible light. Shooting a dirty car is counter-productive.

3. See #2 for pretty much everything. I like the lighting on that one though.

4. I like the lighting and the details you captured on this one. The framing is tight on the left side. I'd prefer this shot a lot more if the hood was down.

Thanks for the critique. def a few point ill keep in mind next time

1. i should have noted that the #2 and #3 was shot the first time I used the brenizer method so my framing was random. the lens flare are real, but ill be careful to select about it next time

2. the shoot was for the mark 1 golf which was flat white and prone to dirt. probably shud spent the extra time to clean it up in post a little. we just threw in my friends mark ii golf just for fun so he didnt have the time to clean it. the uneven surface ill also keep in mind. thanks

4. heres the same shot hood closed :)
