Currently I have the:

  1. 50mm f/1.4
  2. 18-55mm f/4-5.6
  3. 55/250mm f/4-5.6
  4. 24-105mm f/4

I am not sure what other lens should I get. I would be appreciative for your recommendations.
I shoot a lot of nature, cars, tennis, landscape, and people with a t3i.
Eventually upgrading to 5d mark iii in half a month.
My buget for me, I'm just trying to go under 1500.

How can anyone recommend anything to you without knowing what you mainly shoot?

And what body are you using? And budget?

Get the body then go for something longer because your 18-55 & 55-250 will be no good.

For your budget, you can go with either the 70-200 F4L, the F4L IS, or the 70-200 F2.8L non-IS. If you're willing to go to a non-Canon lens, the Sigma 70-200 f2.8 OS HSM lens is selling for $1249 on Amazon.

Do you plan on shooting a lot of things in low light? Will there be a lot of movement of what you're trying to shoot with this lens? Does having a heavier lens bother you? Think of what you would want to shoot with this lens, and which features you would need to accomplish that. I went through this same process, and am now saving for the Sigma 70-200 after weighing my requirements.

Do you plan on shooting a lot of things in low light? sometimes, but not all the time.
Will there be a lot of movement of what you're trying to shoot with this lens? yes
Does having a heavier lens bother you? weight does bother, but that is what the gym is for.

You should definitely get all the L primes, because they give you the best IQ.
Also, get Canon 600L, just in case if you want to shoot birds, plus you get bragging rights. :D

But, if there was one lens to get right now - get 17-55. It's not L, but on a crop it rivals L lenses in IQ, plus it has IS.
When you do move to FF, then you can buy a lens you need. You'll be able to unload 17-55 for pretty much the same price if you buy it used.

What are good L lenses?

I would get the 16-35L and focus on selling the lens that are used on the crop body and buy more L lens for the incoming 5D3. The 24-105L is A nice lens for the price . good luck with the decisions…win win either way.

I would actually hold off on 16-35, especially on FF, since it's fairly wide and if OP wants to take pictures of people - he's out of luck. The longer end would be barely acceptable at 35mm for portraits.
24-105 would be a very nice walkaround, jack of all trades lens. Unfortunately, it's master of none, as it usually goes.
However, to complement 24-105 you can get 85 1.8, which could be had for ~$300 and you would have a nice portrait very fast lens.
You would still fit in around ~$1000 and will be able to build your kit from there based on your needs.

Prob going to sell my 18-55 and 55-250. And get something "L" 16-35 seems nice and 85 1.8 seems nice, but I think I going to get the 85mm 1.2 eventually.

Wow. You're gonna lose a lot of money :D
If you buy the 5D III, sell your 18-55, 55-250 and T3I.
- I would buy the 17-40 instead of 16-35 (Version 1) - it's much sharper and better corrected.
- 24-105 is good.
- Then I'd get the 70-200 f/2.8 non IS. You don't need IS when you shoot sports and with your 5D III, you can set the ISO very high.
- And mabye a nice prime like 85L/Sigma 85/85 1.8 (all three great lenses, depends on how much money you want to spend on) or Sigma 35mm.

Sorry for my bad English
