Is this Normal (pics)? Counterfeit SD card.

An interesting aside, I was walking through Agra (India) carrying a 1DMkII and a couple of young boys of about 9 or 10 approached me with a plastic box containing packaged rolls of film. These boys looked like they didn’t have two rupees to rub together. I told them that I didn’t need film as the camera was digital, immediately they produced another plastic box containing every type of digital media currently available!

And no I did not buy any……..

hahahah, that sticker translates as "Quality Guarantee"

I was waiting for someone who can read the (presumably Simplified Chinese) script and translate it. LOL at the translation - does the sticker say anything else?

im japanese, soi cant read those characters but we share the same letters soi can kinda tell what it says. but those 4 letters says quality guaranteed...lol

I paid $66 Canadian for the card. I wasn't sure why it was cheaper then most, but I guess I know now!

And yes, I reported the seller. And she is "looking into" her source of the cards (she buys them from a "company." Apparently, some have date stamps or whatever (the numbers on the back of the cards), while others don't (same with the country).

Anyways, I gotta get a friggin memory card because for now I am stuck using my 16MB Canon stock card.
