Hey Scott !

It's been a while...your shots are looking great as always. How have things been? I'll PM you soon with an update. Life is still busy for sure...wouldn't want it any other way.

Is your daughter in any of the lax pics or are you working this game?

Coincidentally, I shot at my first field lax game this week - my youngest daughter's HS team. I haven't pp'd them all yet. Probably a 50% keeper rate. Fortunately I'll get to do more as the season moves on....see if I can get close to your talent !

I was surprised about the reach I needed. The 1.4tc would help. Or a 400 2.8 ;) (cha ching)
I did box lax indoors once and found it so similar to hockey. Darker because the floor is not white ice, but the game "behaved" more like hockey. A lot less passing and more solo dashes in this game. Don't know if that's common but it sure happened here.

Cheers to you and we'll catch up soon.

Darcy

Thanks guys!

Great to hear from you Darcy and yeah, please pm me to catch up. We have one graduating in a couple of weeks and the other three still have all of their "stuff" too so I get what you mean by craziness! Once you get used to it, it almost feels weird if things slow down. My little girl (she still let's me say that even though she's 16) isn't in any of those that I posted here but that's one of yours in that shot you have isn't it? Tough game to shoot if you don't "get it" which I still don't. Once I learned about cutters and stuff, it started getting easier but there's still so much unpredictability. I feel like so many of my images just start looking too similar and that frustrates me. Catching peak action is definitely a challenge with girls LAX (at least for me). Post up some more man and I'll look for that pm sometime when you have all that free time on your hands!!! Be well bud!

Great job Scott!
Great colors and clarity...I tried it a couple times last year (night games) your shots are much better.
From what I remember, there's a lot of stoppages in the girls game.
Keep up the good work!
Bob

Thanks so much guys! Yeah Bob, the stoppages are maddening sometimes! What I can't understand is why they don't play advantage like they do in soccer. You'll see a girl on an almost open run to the goal and the ref will call for a restart with no change of possession (obviously) if there was an infraction. It actually disadvantages the player who was fouled worse than the foul itself!
