I am coming from a t3i, I want to go full frame. I take a lot of sports shots, nature, and just everyday walk around photography. I am wondering what would you guys think of either the 6D, 5D Mark II or 5D Mark III. Would it be better to get either the 5D mark2 or 6D then later in life upgrade to the 5D Mark III? Or keep my t3i and save up and jump to get the Mark III?

the crop sensor is limiting my shots. I don't want to take steps back to take that shot. When the shot should be in on position. Instead I have to adjust to get that same picture.

The only thing I can say with the amount of information I have is that I would stay away from the 5d2 if you shoot a lot of action sports. I found the autofocus to not be great for that personally. In most cases, the 6d will be a better choice than the 5d2.

EDIT:

Couldn't you just get a wider lens like the Canon 10-22?

That is not the crop sensor limiting your shots. That is you limiting yourself by buying the wrong lenses for what you shoot.

But if you really want to go FF and want sports, 5Diii.

This confuses me... and I'm sure I'm not the only one. What lenses are you shooting with? If you feel that the T3i's AF is adequate than the 6D should be fine for you, if you feel limited by your current AF then save up and get the 5DIII.

Though if this is genuinely your only concern, but a wider lens and get a 7D.

As mentioned, you don't need FF. You need a 10-22. That $800 lens will get you better shots on your Rebel than the $1700 16-35 II on a $3200 5D3. The 10-22 is the THE BEST UWA lens Canon makes. It is not, however, f/2.8.

However, I find it pointless to get a 10-22 when I am planning to go full frame regardless. More work later on to sell the lens back out.
