Some of these(if not all)photos taken by several different photogs on 4x5 Kodachrome are just simply amazing works of art...Enjoy.:D

Incredible collection. Professionally lit situations, and a great history lesson included with each one. I'd love to see these in a book or available as a full resolution download if OK to do so.

Beautiful images, thanks for sharing! The images of women constructing aircraft reminded me of an elderly English lady I met 30 years ago - she'd glued fabric sections over timber wing frames during World War 1!

Awesome shots. They really do look like modern reproductions. Thanks so much for sharing these.

The ladies have been moved alittle, the box the one is sitting on has been turned around also, and of course it is B&W

the actual content creator was Alfred Palmer and other photographers of the Office of War Information

the link you provided is for a non-English website. How are they the provider of American WWII photographs????

Sorry if I am mistaken, but am confused

Those pictures are jaw dropping. They look great! so hard to believe it's been 70 years since a lot of these were taken. I know developing modern colour film is tricky it must have been a nightmare back then

The camera is just a tool - it is not responsible for the picture.

Wow! I had a hard time believing that these weren't reproductions. That photographer was way ahead of his time.

Definitely think it deserves a "Repost" on account of the shear beauty of some/all of the shots! They are truly amazing IMHO.

bw! For sure!
