Hey there,

I went to support a friend yesterday at an event. It was a 20 mile run through rivers, lakes, obstacles etc.

This was probably the pick.

Any comments appreciated, I wanted a slightly different PP look (Colour but 'punchy') but couldn't seem to get it right.

I like it. I would probably bump the clarity way up to make it look like an old war photo.

Awesome pic, just a tiiiny bit slow on the shutter as that guy's front hand is blurred a bit, but this is one worth playing with in PP to get it just right!

Thanks.

I've just got myself a lightroom book so hopefully I'll understand a little more about what I'm doing. I like the picture so as you say revluke it's worth me going back to it and making it how I want it.

Love the photo! Being a beginner myself I really can't tell you much. However I actually like the blur of the guy in front, it adds more action/struggle to the shot.

Something i found useful to learn about lighroom is doing searches on youtube. Have found lots of interesting videos.

Great candid.Just me but I would rather see a good B&W conversion than this hue?

Had a quick play after looking at some videos on YouTube.

Maybe 'too much'?

Actually, I like the hue.

This is what I had in mind... of course this is a quick & dirty edit:
