I shoot with a 35L & 135L combo.

Many of these were taken with the 35L:

Wouldn't call myself a wedding photographer, but I've been a second shooter at weddings and have done other events/parties. I just couldn't apply the focal length effectively. I either needed to step back or get closer...it was just awkward for me. Reminded me of having a 50mm mounted on a crop sensor; it just always seemed to be too short or too long.

I actually just got the 35 earlier this past year, and have used it for about 5 weddings now. I love it! It's a fantastic quick ready-for-whatever-happens kind of lens. It's a good range to be able to get pretty close or pretty wide. Great storytelling lens as you can always fit multiple people in, showing interactions. It's always on one body, and I usually switch lenses on the other one.

I'd highly recommend it for wedding work. Fast & versatile. I'll try to post some samples when I can.

Here's one from the 35L.
Got the 35 FL becos of lesser distortion. Been using it for mainly bridal portrait. There will be situation where 24 is better.

here's one from using the 35.
