1. I do not want to scratch my camera with the metal element (I hear people mention this a lot)
2. I need to have an ability to use the tripod all the time. I understand there is a solution...some additional staff installed, but just do not want to do it now.

Several people mentioned Carryspeed in this thread but I guess you didn't even bother to take a look at it since those 2 things are a couple of their selling points over other sling systems.

I agree, I had one of the bright red Canon ones and sold it. Doesn't CPS make one as well or am I confusing it with the Op/Tech one?

I have the CPS strap, but I wouldn't use it to carry heavy kit.

Might have missed it. Checked their website. So which product exactly, would you know?

I have the Crumpler Industry Disgrace in brown camo, which was another limited edition print they had a few years ago. I love it because it distributes weight and breathes well. It's also long enough that I can wear it cross body or around my neck.

FS Sling was linked above, as it has an Arca-Swiss compatible plate. CS if you have a different cleat system.

I've reviewed Black Rapid, Carry Speed, Custom SLR and Peak Design's Leash and Capture. Of the bunch, I like Carry Speed ball nut connecting system because it works with the strap as well as the Spider Holster. The strap itself I like Custom SLR or Carry Speed's.

I also have Custom SLR's M-Plate. The plate works on Manfrotto and Arca-Swiss plates and you do not need to remove the strap from it.

Canon Professional Services does not make straps. the CPS straps you see are made by Crumpler with CPS embroidered on it.

That's what I meant, I didn't mean they made them literally since they don't make anything.

Used to have a Crumpler Industry Disgrace and I love that strap, never let me down and always super secure, no need to keep checking over and over again.

Just got a Blackrapid Yeti for the time when I may shoot two camera.. and I thought I would try out this whole sling strap business. Took some inspiration from Scatteredbrain with the Op/Tech system and added a secondary buckle for some redundancy.
