After years of "not really needing" a speedlight, I finally found myself at a point where I should stop ignoring the fact that my work would significantly benefit from utilizing off camera flash.
So, I've made the plunge and ordered a Yongnuo YN-560III, RF-602 transmitter, basic light stand, and an umbrella. My work, as of recently, consists mostly of product photography and the occasional shoot with a model in a small studio. On the rarest of days I'll be shooting outdoors.
My question is, what should I consider as my second speedlight? I've read really great things about Yongnuo's new YN-568ex and the RF-622c transceiver. I suppose my conundrum is determining whether or not I feel like HSS/ETTL is a necessity for me. I know it really comes dow to personal preference and a decision I will need to make for myself, depending on my forecasted needs, but just wondered if anyone here had any insight or experience that I should consider before going for it or just picking up another YN-560III.
Thanks in advance!
Thanks for helping me understand a little more!
