I'm (hopefully) going to be hiring this set up to use next week for some sports shooting, for my girlfriend to use. I've read somewhere that using a TC can stop the ability to auto focus.

So just wanted some clarity from anyone that has used the gear before that my girlfriend is going to be able to auto focus with the TC + lens on my 650D? As she's got no experience at all! (she is only shooting me so that's not a problem)

Thanks!

If your using a 1.4X TC AF will work with your 650D. If you plan to use a 2X TC it will not work with your 650D. It will only work with a 1D body.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

Great, thanks. That's all I needed to know :) Just wanted to make sure before I rented it!
