Is there a posing guide for photographers online for free? I have looked around and there are some random videos but I am looking for something useful. Is there a book you may be able to recommend?
Thanks!

But in my opinion, the best way to learn poses is to watch modeling videos. Also create your own collection of photos that have nice poses. I categorize all saved photos into folders in my phone such as "Standing", "Sitting", "Wall", "Floor", "Rail", etc. Prior to a shoot, or even during a shoot, I look through the photos and get an idea of what I can do. During the shoot, if I see a really nice wall, I look through my "Wall" folder... if I see a nice log to sit on, I go through the "Sitting" folder, etc. Works great Gear List (5D3, 70-200 f2.8L IS II, Sigma 85mm f1.4, Sigma 35mm f1.4, 50 f1.8, 24-105L, Alien Bee lights, etc etc)

What is wrong with bring up an old topic if they searched for it rather than asking the question again? This was a good reply to a question I am sure many on here likely have. I for one am happy it was brought back. Trever Canon 7D, 24-70 F2.8L ii, Sigma 10-20 1:4-5.6 DC HSM, and a bunch of other little stuff to make light sorta work. Deviant
