So the only PP I did was a small crop and unsharp mask. This is one of my first few with the nifty fifty. Critique please, need to learn!

Not seeing your image, Supa. Maybe for others, not on my Macbook with Safari, however.

Hey dude, congrats on the nifty fifty, tis a great lens!

Your image is pretty darn good, and if I had to critique it, id go for the background.

The dark door/wall is distracting. If you had recomposed using more of the wall from right, it would have been hard to tell if it was a wall or a muslin.

And that's nitpicking. Good work on the PP.

I was struggling, not your fault haha. First time using flickr and copied the wrong link.

Thanks! My dad was actually just holding him and I just fired a few shots, wasn't really "posing" but I do need to start paying more attention to what is filling my shots.

Been there myself, Supa - like 4 days ago! Your image is great, and I agree with Rolfe on the background being a little distracting on the left side.

I have the same lens on my T3i but haven't given it much use, just a few shots. Thanks for the inspiration to get out and use it.

Yea, I think it is going to be a great lens, I am on the hunt for an 85 1.8 now though as I need a little more reach.
