I am doing some cap and gown shots for some underprivileged high school students. I was testing out my lighting tonight, and wanted to get everybody's opinions. This is a self portrait, so I wasn't able to nail my focus exactly. I was just trying to work on lighting. I used a speedlight through an umbrella at 45 degrees on camera left for my main light and another speedlight reflected into an umbrella on camera right for a fill. Did I light this ok? The cap and gowns will be emerald green.
Also any other helpful tips will be appreciated such as cropping or composition. What about lens choice? I used my 85 f/1.8, but I could go with my 24-105.
thanks
