Hi there - I'm new to this, so hope I'm posting in the right place. My question is about digital image rates for website use. After the shoot is done, how are people charging for use of the images? Are they charging by pixel resolution? (i.e. the higher quality resolution they want, say for website use, the more expensive the image is?) And is it a one shot payment, or do they then have the right to use the image for a term, say 1 year. OR are people charging by size. i.e. 1/4 page, 1/2 page, full page - and depends on if it's on a homepage or secondary website pages. What is the common practice? I'm stuck on pricing this contract out - any help is more than appreciated.
