My brother just adopted Tommy a few months back. Tommy had already been adopted twice and brought back due to being a bit wild and stubborn. I guess people don't realize that when you adopt an animal you have to be prepared for a little hard work. Tommy is a year old and has spent most of the year in a 10x8 kennel.

He is making progress. He still tries to bolt out the door anytime someone opens it. He also uses biting as a form of play which is the number one thing they are working on with him at obedience class.

Here is Tommy in his new environment... He loves the outdoors!

That's the thing with rescue animals, they all come with some sort of baggage. When you rescue, you have to be prepared to help them unpack that baggage and replace it with good habits. Bless your brother for giving this handsome guy a home!

Best of luck to Tommy and your brother.
Your 2nd image is a wonderful portrait of who I'm sure will turn out to be a great canine companion. I too "was adopted" by one with baggage that is still a work in progress so I feel the pain and wish the best.

Thank your brother for giving this handsome guy a "furever" home. I am sure that he will be repaid many times over with love and loyalty....
