3-D shadow.....How???

I see alot of pictures that have a shadow around it making it look like a "3-D" photo...... I have Photshop 7, is it possible to do that with PS 7???

The effect you are looking for is called "Drop Shadow"

It can be used as a text effect, as an edge effect, or as an effect to highlight one item (like an icon, etc.). Here are three tutorials that I found that might help
