Congratulations to T3 and everyone else who managed to find angry subjects this week - all I could find was that statue!

T3--
Nice vibe to this staged (I hope...) shot; has a slasher exploitation feel, The Devil's Rejects comes to mind. I like the no-frills composition as well. Well done.

lapino--
Looks like someone is not getting their way. Cute image, I would have liked a little more dof, and less looking down. But that's me.

Pixels--
Daddy's Lil' Tough Guy does not look to thrilled about whatever that has transpired, so out came the waterworks, puffy eyes and the puppy dog look. I like the juxtaposition of the subjects weepy eyes, and that of the fierce lion's eyes on the couch throw blanket.

teekay--
teekay, if that's all the anger you see or find in this world, than god bless you! You are well on your way to enlightenment. Seems more cautionary than anger, but I am curious to the nature of this statue. By the way, nicely done on the tricky exposure.

Kevan--
Kevan, you put a grin on my face with this one. At work, I get the "where's your smile" from coworkers, and I flash 'em your models pose as my work smile...
Otherwise I like the studio composition of your shot, from lighting to composition, exposure and model...spot on. I have that very same head ware, and I where it to work from time to time. Scares the locals.

Frosticles--
Jim Scott is looking to kick butt, and the photographer taking this picture is the most likely candidate. Spot-on exposure, and nice off center composition. Subject is nicely isolated, and adds to the anger's focus.

utsoniabee--
Nothing like a big sister to comfort an upset brother, nice family album moment. Exposure of the subjects is nicely done, and nicely soft as well. Now, The blown highlights at the top of the frame are a little distracting, but can easily be reduced but using a tighter crop, which would also place the subjects off center for a more pleasing composition.

Allen--
Crisp monochrome conversion, and I love the tones you got. Exposure and composition are wonderful, but then again you know your street work. Is this motley crew "fringe" (since one subject is on the edge of the frame), or just some skate punks (a bare skateboard with artwork on the counter) with an over-zealous attitude (right subject has a tattoo of Homer Simpson's dog Santa's Little Helper)...

I say, put the camera down and move along quietly. My piecing together of the events of this picture leads me to this conclusion: you came upon the scene and took the shot, but the subjects got onry to the point of possible physical harm so you lowered your camera and snapped this exposure. The eye gaze of both Joe Dirt and Santa's Little Helper, up and slightly left, tells me they were looking into you eyes.

Gail--
Ballroom Brawl dancing, or a hockey game? Ah yes, skates. I don't care, I love hockey brawls. Where are the Dave Schultz' and the Tiger Williams' today? I would have loved a fist or two flying, these two look like they're having an intimate moment. Still, nice exposure and composition, though you must of had a slightly slower shutter speed, just seems a hair blurry. White balance may be a smidge off, I think I see a spattering of magenta, but I could easily be wrong. Thank you for the mano y mano anger fest.

Thank you again for your patronage.

Jason

Jason, thanks for the great topic and also taking the time to comment.....

I have a lot ot real anger but most of it has not been shot with Canon. I really never shoot with Canon for any of my personal work lately and haven't since Nov....

GO HAWKS!!!!!
