Was up at Ardelve last June. We had walked across the Bridge to Eilean Donnan Castle well coated in midgie repellant (Deet actually that we had brought back from holiday in USA) I was wandering around, taking shots and watching the sunset. Hubby just stood and relaxed and watched it develope. This guy appeared and rushed down to get all set up. Dancing, twitching and scratching as he did. I rested camera on the top of the little bridge going across to the castle and got this shot off, the only second he actually stood still. Do not know if he is a member of this forum or not, but I hope his suffering was worth it and he got something worth keeping. as it was nice of him to add that extra something to this one:D

Great shot Jackie :)

Is it just Scotland that gets those 2 or 3 minutes before sundown when the sky is beautiful then all of a sudden its gone ?

I've seen myself driving home at night thinking damn, wish I had my camera with me.

Nope Go to Mississippi the sunset skies there are amazing to. And you actually get time to sit with a dram, and watch the sun sink slowly.:D

Thank you everyone. Am relatively new to this sort of photography, getting more shots that I like, (the camera is a great teacher) But it is good to hear fromothers that I am heading in right direction.

Very nicely done, Jackie. I love the colors, and the photographer does add to the composition.

Did you say you vacationed in Mississippi? Quite a change from Scotland, I suspect.

Very nice shot! Yes, the human element in the frame is very important at times, and it works well here.
