I'm going to be buying the MT-24EX and will need the 67C adapter to use it with my macro lens. Does anybody know if the adapter ring has any unique features or would I be able to use the Sigma 67mm adapter ring instead (which I already own)?

Any help appreciated, thanks.

Different. Macrolite Adapter 67C and all other Macrolite Adapter have grooves for you to snap the MT-24EX bracket on.

Which macro lens do you have?

Most of the Canon ones the macro flashes mount directly on, ie EF 100mm macro USM, MP-E 65mm, EF-S 60mm macro. But not EF 180mm L Macro (72mm adaptor) or EF 100 mm L IS (67mm adaptor) macro which require one of the adaptors.

I've got the 100mm L so I'll need the adapter. The sigma version that I've got has a groove in to attach the ringflash so I was wondering if I could get away with using that

I don't know if the sigma grooves are compatible, it's not and expensive item compared to the rest of the kit I would just get the Canon one.
