hi All, this post is a series of 12 shots looking at my progress this past year of macro. Bas has done this before and I think is a pretty cool idea soIm giving it a shot.

my first macro, May 18th 2012 It was what I call A ghetto stack (handheld stack of 2) with a 7D and 580 exii diffused with a bouncer and a flash soft box over it 3X MP-E

also in May my first 5X with the MP-E, didnt have a rig so I had to up the ISO to get more light

July I finally get my hands on a 100mmL; used it 4 or five times and my MP-E gets back in action. felt naked with out the MP-E lol

thank you denis, I thought it would be nice to doit after Bas mentioned to me. he was right, it took some time to go over the work, but it was interesting to see IQ, DOF and read EXIF data and realize the many things I was doing wrong lol cant wait for CR next year ;)

That wing detail is crazy sharp. Beautiful, even. Great improvement over those months, it's looking good :)
