Hi there, iam not that much an expert but it seems to me that there is something wrong with my pictures.
these image are a single 6minutes exposure taken with an 550d at iso 800. in processing of stacking i came to the idea there must be something wrong because the cloudy field all over the image and no the sky was clear like glass;). in the first picture it is thin to see just from raw to jpeg without any change. second is with 80% saturation on just to make clear what is that about.
also the photo seems to me like hard pixeled like on a sandpaper.

and this is also to find on other pictures like short exposure. i have no possibility to compare with. maybe the cam is broken i think or i make something totally wrong.
so if anyone have a clou about what is going on or what i can check please write .i would be very thankful.

Can't say for sure but looks like regular high ISO noise to me. You can turn long exposure noise reduction on, but not sure how much it will help.

Your post is quite confusing. Can you write it again more clearly, giving images straight from camera. I think you may have processed something, somehow.

I think the OP is expressing dissatisfaction with the lower contrast (less black black areas) and with noise in the image.

As posted, enlarged area

As corrected for contrast, and noise processed

OP, did you let the camera use its digital subtraction noise reduction during the shooting?
Perhaps your issue is also taking the shot in an area in which light contamination from adjacent cities is reflected in the moisture content of the air!

Raise your black point to push the noise down. (Curves or levels)
