So after being in the hobby for about 3/4 years now. I now suffer the unacceptable fact that 3 pcs of my pride and joy have been dropped from waist high level and both are have not i believe, slipped/broken gears in its AF system. To make things worst it wasn't me that accidentally dropped the items. Still can't believe it's happened as i take meticulous care for my gear, but it's over and done now.

So moving on, the 5Dc body survived with a deep dent on top of it and a few scratches but both the lenses have suffered body chips damages and AF are now shot on both of them.

Can anybody give me advice on slipped/broken/stuck AF before? How much the estimated cost of repair will be?

Also to be more detailed... the focus ring on the 50mm is totally stuck and I'm no longer able to turn it. The one on the 70-200mm i can still turn but it does not move the AF mechanism inside.
