No preview for RAW files in Windows 7... canon 6D

Any fix for that??

It's a bit frustrating...

windows 7 64bits on Retina macbook pro. (yeah, it's blurry at 1920x1200)

You need the codecs.

you can get them from Microsoft here (external link).

Thanks for the link bt the 6D is not in the codecs... I've tried this morning.

I highly recommend the full FastPictureViewer package.

It includes the codecs and it'll surely speed up your culling process.

I would add that if you have more than 8GB of ram or greater that you don't need the $45 FastPictureViewer software, only the $15 FastPictureViewer codecs in order to operate at a fast pace with raw files in Windows 7 64bit. Windows Explorer is just as fast as FastPictureViewer IF you have enough RAM on your machine.

Really sucks that we don't have proper codecs when obviously we could since this small 3rd party company put them together long ago.

I tried many programs for thumbnail preview 6D RAW files on win 8 64bit and MS update KB2836187 (external link) solved problem.
