water drop tutorial?

I want to take water drop picture close up, and I find it really hard, cuz the water drips quickly, and if I set speed higher, the picture is too dark..
I know everyone takes water drop picture, so it would be good if you guys could tell me hwo you do it.

I'm sure you just need more light. Try to get as much light as you can that will allow you to use the higher shutter speeds. I would also change the ISO, but don't go too high, it may turn out too grainy. When I experimented with this, I actually went out on my deck in the sunlight with a roll of wrapping paper (the white side) for the background. Made it much easier. I think others have mentioned using utility lights?
