I have been watching the system resource dialog lately while photoshop does big tasks. I have two hard drives. One a ssd as the c: with the os and used as scratch. The other is a normal hd on the e:. I notice that one drive will say it has 20gb free one second, then it seems to move 20 gigs to the other drive and then back again. Is this normal?

Whoops, please disregard. Solved.

The drive sort order is what is alternating. 20gb is NOT bouncing back and forth between drives. Nothing to see here
