"Flickr had become about words, little images, blue links. It was not about the photo anymore. We had lost that. We wanted to bring together a photo centric world."

I'm liking the new look.

....the best camera is the one you have on you at the time.

I like it as well and 1TB of storage is insane. As a Pro user, I wonder what they're going to do for us....

I'm trying to figure out how they got my sofa upstairs....

So, I go to change the banner on my page, but it seems I'm stuck with choosing only my recent images they offer in drop down. Oh sure, I can simply reload the image I wanted, so it'll spring back on top of the 'recents', but what a royal pain!

If their slick-****ick isn't allowing me to better navigate their maze, then the hell with it.

Yes that is a gripe with me too!

I'm glad I can still drag an image to a tab and then copy that link into here. Least something is positive.

That's a browser thing, rather than a site design thing. There are ways they could mess it up for you but they would require some effort.

I understand that. I'm just glad they didn't somehow block my approach.

I think the majority of the Pro users on Flickr are very unhappy - counting the negative responses on their "Help Forum"
I am certainly one of them...

My name is Henk. and I believe "It is all in the eye of the beholder....."
