The site seems to be back, but any attempt I make to upload fails :(

It's working for me too, although I get MasterCard sign when trying to see image in full screen playing mode.

I want to see the old Organize/Groups back. I liked the way you could see all your groups, select one or many images to add to a group then click on that group and have it open for comments.

Now it's just impossible or at the least super time consuming and frustrting. I have photos to upload but won't be doing that until something changes soon.

Yes, I was confused and thought all the pro-account holders were losing some features and or having to pay more for less. I wasn't aware that current pro-account holders can continue to pay $25 and not lose anything. Thanks for the clarification.

Yes - VIP treatment for current pro customers to be able to stay with an alternative that no one else can buy anymore :)

Are you talking about during the upload process? I can't check that right now and anyways I use LR instead of their interface to upload my pictures.

Or are you talking about after they are already uploaded and you are trying to use Organize? Because I still see Groups under Organize and you can grab on or many pictures and drop them into a Group.

After uploading using Organize. When I open the new Organize/Groups. You have to add photos to the batch, then whatevers in batch you can add to the groups dropdown menu. But it's all or none inthe batch to add to a group. Then the window closes and you aren't able to click on the group like before to have it open. It's just the same at all, not user friendly.

Just downgraded to free. I'll probably never fill a terabyte, and if i do, i'll upgrade.

So, could you post a screen shot of what the ads look like with the free account? I have the pro account and if the only difference is no stats and ads, well, I can live without the stats and I'll never use 1TB. So, the level of obnoxiousness of the ads is the only thing that will determine whether I pay $25/year or not.

Thanks,
Scott

Nooo!!!:( They got rid of the map viewer on the right hand corner where you can just hover over and shows you the location on the map.

Yes, and the ONLY ad I've come across is on the Explore page... a narrow bar near the bottom of the screen with a single ad. If you scroll down... no more ads. Photostream, sets, collections, groups... no ads.

I can't believe that is the only ad that would show up. Certainly not worth $50/yr ($25 if you're a current Pro) to get rid of.

I have to think that actually logging in to a free account would have more ads. Am I wrong?

I like the new design. Anything that helps my family and friends navigate through a gallery of photos is a step forward. The old design was cumbersome -- so much so, that I would direct people to Flickriver to view anything I wanted them to see.

I just linked to a set and never had any problems.
