Oh and supposedly you'll be able to have full resolution pictures, no cropping or limited pixels or sizes. I've never used flickr, so I don't know what it used to offer, but I know many here do.

I guess you have adds on the free version. You can pay (not sure how much) for the ad-free version. Oh and they'll increase your storage to 2TB!

Just saw this actually, not quite sure how I feel about the layout changes quite yet.

Edit: Well it seems now that there's not much of a distinction between the old free and pro now with the new membership scheme, apart from seeing advertisments or no advertisments.

You beat me to it, it's live now and I think it's looking good so far. Just needs the ability to sell images. ;-)a

Is it still limited to your most recent 200 photos?

Price increase is interesting, Pro account was $50 bucks for 2 years now its $50 bucks for ad free a year, and $499.99 for 2tb storage and ad free (WTFBBQ).... Hmm maybe they are taking a page from adobe lol.

This new flickr makes me want to use it for a portfolio. It looks like a big paper sheet of prints. I like it.

With a 300mb bandwidth limit per month, it doesn't matter how much space they provide for free account users really.

Yea, that wont get you too far...I was thinking more of just a backup option for full size finished Jpegs. Just in case the other backups fail your last resort can be the Flickr storage...but...

I like the layout 1000 times better then the old.
