A shot I took just before New Years day. C&C welcome. No PS except sharpen and a little saturation boost.

Jan 18, 2006 20:16 | #2 That looks more like an old mill. At least around here something like that would be. Nice shot and looks pretty interesting. Christopher J. Martin

Jan 19, 2006 17:16 | #7 It's a great shot. From a personal taste POV I think having something in the foreground and using a good DOF can add a lot to these types of photos. But maybe there wasn't anything there? "No one ever grew by being measured...."

But maybe there wasn't anything there? Now I have to go figure how to do it myself! ![]() I was pretty far from the subject, maybe 200 yards. There was a fence in the foreground but didn't help a whole lot. Decided to go more with the character of the wood versus the surroundings. The thing that gets me about this is it almost looks like a painting versus a photo due to the overcast sky. Bob

She doesn't look all that bad as far as old barns go. The ones I take around me are either on the verge off total collapse or are in almost new condition. the name is Winston but they call me Sandy
