Kodakery - A Journal for Amateur Photographers (external link).

I stumbled across this relic from an early revolution in photography - a camera explicitly made for that amateur! Interesting!

Gotta love the how-to on Bay Window Portraits.

Oh horror! All those articles on MANIPULATION. It will bring the death of real photography.

A photography magazine, and about 90% devoted to PP, who would have thunk it? Actually most of the old magazines of that and earlier periods seem to be mostly about the darkroom.

This is wonderful! It really does show how much photography has evolved, but in addition, how some things never change - like the subjects we photograph, what we want out of final images, and the importance of editing whether it's through a darkroom or photoshop.

Thanks for sharing!
