Worryingly I seem to find a lot of insects that are not in good shape in the garden, and this was walking around a lot, giving me a chance to snap away.

A very nice series, Bas. I know what you mean; I am also finding a few weak or dead insects about but not an alarming amount. Lovely eye detail on the fourth shot.

Smashing set, Bas. Maybe it's the cold Spring we are having that's had an affect on the bugs, even the birds look out of condition.

Thanks George. I am now snapping away with manual flash settings, a diffuser that seems to work for the most part, and the practice seems to be coming together.

Thank you Denis, the weather is crazy here too, I am not sure if the bugs know what to do with themselves.

Nice find m8, but I'm sure as the weather warms up we'll start seeing insects looking happier!

Paul.

I am enjoying snapping stuff, and there is plenty of room for improvement, so I can still enjoy getting better
