I like this quite a bit.

To my taste just a tiny bit darker......

Thanks folks. As for its brightness, during the edit process, I had created a screen layer to work on her eyes but upon seeing the brighter image I really liked the direction the image was going. Naturally, I had to scale back on the opacity and I did so just short of blowing her highlights. Or maybe I did just a little.

I'm glad she is glowing, it's her. Just finished her Masters program and is off to South Africa for a couple month's work.

I tend to expose on the brighter side as well but I think this is just a TAD, a smidget, too far right. Nice portrait though. I like the editorial feel it has to it.
