Here are a few shots of Humpback whales from my recent trip to Antarctica. We were lucky enough to get into the zodiacs with a few Humpbacks around.

C&C always apreciated.

Pretty cool ( no pun intended) and I especially like the 3rd shot with the classic pose and with the ice in the background.

You've done something very few of us will ever do, and you have great pictures to remind you of it.

Thanks very much for you comments. I would say that if you ever get the chance to go then jump at it. I wish I had the ability to put the emotion experienced into the pictures - it really was a journey that just makes you want to go back for more, and more and more...

Awesome, just awesome...really great shots of some breathtaking creatures. I bookmarked your site and when I have more time, I will read everything on it. I'm fascinated by Antarctica and would love to go there someday. I'm reading a book right now about the Wandering Albatross (which breeds there). I would love to see the wildlife that lives in such inhospitable climates.
