Do you have any idea how much it messes with the database to make a name change for a member with 42K posts, just because he tired of the name he chose?

Rick isn't a rule breaker and that would be breaking the rules. It couldn't be easy keeping up with that pace, but prison allots a person plenty of free time.

As long as talk appears to be open, I'll assume it is. But just the facts.

This.

You do not need to explain or justify. I saw his reason - because he was "tired of the name". The rules are clearly stated at the beginning of the thread. Denial was appropriate.

CLARIFICATION: My comment above was intended SOLELY as a possible answer to the OP's question of "What happened to rick_reno".

No implication that the decision to deny his name change was wrong or unjustified was intended.
