Looks like I have lost a modelling lamp, after 10,000 images and they are about £12 so pretty good value.
Ok not ideal but I could do a shoot with one modelling lamp, say swap the backlight out.
So I thought if the Flash Tube went ouch I have lost a key part of the system. Maybe best to get a spare and carry it with me just in case?
Seems there are 2 versions
One bulb is Clear and costs £60 and is rated at 6500 K colour temp.
The other is UV Coated and costs £72 and has 5600 K rating +/- 300 colour temp
The manual says they are 5600 K rating +/- 300 colour temp. So do I assume I should get the UV coated ones (always the most expensive eh!)
Does it actually matter?
I like the current look I am getting, but really need to understand what this colour temp number means
Any advice welcome, as my niece is getting married soon so need it all sorted by july.
