Hello all. I am going on a much needed vacation from Ohio to Clearwater Beach, Florida, and have an hour and a half layover in Charlotte. To anyone here that is familiar with the airport and close surroundings, is there anything photo worthy? I am a pretty big nascar fan, and know that Charlotte is a pretty big spot on the nascar map. Even with a timely 1.5 hour layover, I obviously cannot stray too far, but is there anything close by that is worth checking out?

Closest major attraction is probably the Carolina Aviation Museum which is on the airport.

Otherwise, 1.5 hours at CLT isn't enough time to leave the immediate vicinity of the airport if it's enough time to leave the terminal at all.

Unless you end up with a far longer layover, there really isn't anything you can get to and from. Even the CAM is unrealistic for your given window.
