1st time mum going from confused to what a clever girl I am.

Purple? Their official colour is "liver/puce" so purple is ok.

Or it could be a calibration issue :-)

The calibration issue is this end, the chest does look purple? Back into PS methinks.

There is a red heatlamp that could be responsible though
