Canon reinstating/extending camera rebates

Based on a sale flyer (Canon/Calumet) in today's (5/24) paper, Canon's extending the $200 "Instant Rebate" on the 60D and 60D + EF-S 18-135. They're also reinstating (effective Sunday, 5/26 through 6/22) the rebates of

• $100 on the 6D and 6D +24-105L
  
• $200 on the 5D3 and 5D3+24-105
  
• $200 on the 7D and 7D+28-135
  

• $30 on A2500, Elph 330 and SX280
  
• $40 on Elph 115
  
• $50 on Elph 130, SX160, S110 and SX50
  
• $100 on SX500, G1x and G15
  

Where did you find that on the Powershot? I'm thinking about a G15 but only see $50 off and it ends on the 25th.

I would prefer the arrangement before the rebates kicked in, when the prices were significantly lower than when after the rebates started. Way to go, Canon.

The SX50HS usually goes for $399. I noticed that today(BestBuy), they were at $359. You think a new model is coming?

On another store the 7D has a $360 rebate. It is now $1139 (body only). I've been waiting for the 7D to come down in price, but some people suggested I'd wait for the mk2. On the other hand i also read a rumour that no update to the 7D in 2013. Maybe at this price I should just just stick to the original. I wonder if its gonna get any lower than $1139

As I said, there was a sale flyer in my Friday, 5/24, Washington Post. One of the glossy Canon ones, with Calumet filling in the space left for the dealer.

Just bought a G15... only offering $50 off. Can't find anywhere local or on the net that is offering $100. I wonder if it was a typo in what you saw.
